“I’m so sorry, Mobius,” he murmured, his voice trembling. “I truly am. What has been years for you has been a millennium for me.” “It’s okay, Loki. It’s okay.” Mobius soothed, placing his hand back on Loki’s shoulder, gripping him tightly in fear that he might disappear again. “I didn’t want you to see me like this,” Loki sobbed quietly. “I wanted to be strong.” “Hey, none of that,” Mobius gently scolded, squeezing Loki’s thigh with his other hand. “You are strong, Loki. Unbelievably so.” Loki didn't respond; he stared into the distance, lost in thoughts that he couldn't seem to escape. Mobius wanted to pull him close to ease that heavy burden, but he felt that words of comfort wouldn’t quite cut it. Instead, he took a deep breath and shuffled closer.

“Okay, sweetheart,” Mobius replied with a reassuring smile. “I’m gonna need to know what you want, though.” Loki nodded and looked into Mobius’ eyes, overwhelmed by the love that shone within them. His heart ached, caught in a whirlwind of feelings, unsure if it was on the verge of bursting or shattering. “What do you want?” Mobius prompted gently. And wasn’t that a loaded question? What did he want? For the first time ever, Loki let himself truly want—he wanted so deeply, so selfishly, yet so purely, that he was unsure how to proceed. He wanted to fix the loom, to ensure his friends were safe, to have a place to call home. But more than anything, he wanted Mobius. His feelings for Mobius were stronger than anything he had ever felt for anyone else. He wanted nothing more than for Mobius to be safe and happy; he longed to be his protector and, in return, continue to find comfort in him. He craved the sweetness of his kiss, the warmth of his touch. He wanted Mobius to hold him tight and never let go. “I…” he began, struggling to find the words to express his feelings, so instead he said, “I want to forget everything… just for a moment.”

Aside from sharing his hairstyle and a few similar outfits, they barely looked like him. “Are these supposed to be me? They’re terrible.” Mobius mumbled something that he didn’t hear, and he reached out to poke one of the soulless figures, curious how it managed to balance with such an enormous head. Was this some sort of twisted joke—a mockery of his pride? With a gentle nudge, its head began to wobble on its neck before toppling backward and hitting the shelf with a thud. “Seriously?” Loki glared at Mobius. “This is just insulting.”

It's Seven Sentence Sunday so here's a #lokius WIP!!!

I'm Currently working on a fic that's literally about Mobius being obsessed with Loki's laugh. I think it's going to be pre s1 and then go up to the deleted automat scene.

It's early days but I rly like the idea of this one 🥹
The tape spun to life with a soft whirr, and Mobius took a long sip of his Josta as he leaned back in his chair. Not long ago, after a particularly evasive Variant had caused chaos on the timelines, he had been assigned the Loki case. Somehow, despite the mess being typical Loki behaviour, they had managed to avoid and trick the TVA with an ease unlike no other Variant before them. Mobius’ mission was to uncover every detail about Loki, which meant he had the absolute pleasure of doing a deep dive into his life. This was the part of his job that he loved the most—digging into the overlooked moments, piecing together the puzzle of what made someone tick. By now, he had consumed most of the footage related to Loki’s various escapades. He particularly enjoyed the small moments of mischief the God got up to in his younger years: transforming himself into a snake to frighten Thor, masquerading as an ordinary Asgardian to spread rumours about Fandral and Sif following a heated argument, an

“What the Hel are you doing here?” Mobius yelled, scrambling off his sofa and flinging himself in front of Loki in an attempt to prevent him from entering the room any further. “Don’t raise your voice at me; I’ve done nothing wrong.” Loki replied, crossing his arms. “Nothing wrong? You quite literally just picked the lock on my door and broke into my room.” Mobius hissed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “Am I not entitled to privacy? What if I’d been naked?” Loki shrugged, a smirk playing on his lips. “That wouldn’t bother me.” He leaned slightly to the side, trying to see the living room behind Mobius. “Loki!” Mobius gasped in disbelief, rising onto his tiptoes and shifting his weight to further block Loki’s view. “Why are you so Hel-bent on keeping me out?” Loki challenged, rising on his own toes to peer over Mobius’ head. “What secrets are you hiding, Mobius M. Mobius?”

With an exasperated roll of his eyes, Loki hid his face against the desk, letting his hair shroud his vision in darkness. “Hey, come on,” Mobius said softly, brushing Loki's hair aside. “Did you have another late night?” Loki tried to repress a shiver from where Mobius’ fingers brushed against his temple. “Yes, I did,” he lied, speaking directly into the desk. “And I would greatly appreciate being left alone to recuperate, please and thank you.” “Wow, look at you! Such manners—please and thank you? I’m honoured.” Loki let out an indignant grunt in response, and Mobius placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “If it makes you feel any better, I may have a little surprise for you after work.”
