Two of my kids are currently studying physics which does seem to be different as they learn problem solving and proof writing which forces them to think (or fail if they can’t or won’t). Yes. My partner teaches comp sci here in Canada and the instances of AI related cheating are skyrocketing. The students just copy and paste from chat GPT (which some of the instructors are actually telling them to use instead of coding themselves) and then they appeal their grade when they fail

This is quite late for us. We Used to have snow by mid November, already packed down. We’ve seen a few days of flurries but nothing stuck until today. With the polar vortex moving south it’s starting to get cold here now. I wore my winter coat for the first time this past week!
