Great to see chorus waves in the news! We have created music inspired by and including chorus emissions recorded by the @bas.ac.uk Halley VLF receiver. This track, from our album Aurora Musicalis, features some amazing recordings of chorus waves accompanied by ambient music on a grand piano. 🇦🇶📡🎼🎵🎹😎.

Anyone ever had Facebook cancel their accounts, I’ve clearly been hacked via instagram & facebook have closed my account 😒. Weirdly in order to resolve or question their judgement you need to log in to issue a complaint, something they won’t allow you to do 🙄 😝

Sake, Parisian roofers, China's spring festival - does anyone have field recordings of anything from the new UNESCO intangible heritage list that they would be able to submit for our Sonic Heritage project? www.euronews.com/culture/2024...
What’s new on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list?
Alongside Japanese sake and Brazilian cheese, Europe made a strong showing on the UNESCO list. Ukrainian 'pysanky' and Parisian roof restorers were just two of the continent’s treasures to be added.

Exploring sound foraging: using sand, objects, and Lom geophone mics to reveal hidden resonances. It’s about deep listening, eco-materialism, and the fleeting, tactile nature of sound—always shifting, always in flux. #SonicArt #DeepListening #EcoMaterialism

Sound foraging during a drought in New York, the lake is empty and the woods are tinder. Everything is crackle, crunch and susurration. Listening to winter and the changes in the landscapes that hot air in November cause.
