not to say there aren’t things to learn from Ayurveda! i will study many practices to learn about how different cultures approach healing, but i don’t practice herbalism from the lenses of other cultures because i feel i lack the full understanding to do the system of medicine justice.

i run hot, moist and tense. while having studied it, i don’t practice Ayurveda. as a white person who cannot read the Vedas, i don’t feel as though i can practice Ayurveda. if i can’t speak the language of the people it originated from, i don’t practice it. i stick with western herbalism!

good! i just wrote a little update. i feel generally more relaxed, which is great as i am such an uptight tense person hehe
