The @commonseac.parliament.uk report released today concludes that current government support for airport expansion is incompatible with the UK’s climate and nature targets, and is based on claims of economic growth that lack substansive evidence.

Grateful to have contributed to this piece with Kevin. Airport expansion is a clear test of whether the UK is serious about its climate commitments. New airport capacity and meeting our carbon obligations simply do not align, and the costs fall hardest on those who fly least.
