Have you tried the new Procreate brushes? I was trying to get a creamy, painterly look, but it all blended together into a muddy mess 😅 I still love the painterly style, so I figured out some tricks to make it work!

I went to Iceland in August! I had to paint some of the beautiful things I saw. It was very weird, magical, and inspiring! I will definitely go back one day to see more of the island, but for now, I am revisiting it through my art 🖤

Gradients, smudge tool, blur - they’re all great tools, until your art turns into a blurry mess. A soft rendering style is not easy to pull off, which is why I made a video about it ~ this one comes with 3 smudge brushes that I made myself! ✨

Heres my take: That's not only normal, it’s an essential part of the creative process. I believe that you can develop a positive relationship with it, and use it as a guide to solve problems in your art - leading to better art and a more enjoyable process!
