I was scanning for Harlan Ellison -- then I saw the book to its right: ERB God's/Warlords of Mars. That's a Doubleday SF Book Club edition, cover by the legendary Frank Frazetta, who autographed a copy to me (my brother's first job was writing the SF Club bulletin).

Those DC 100-pagers were the best. I've been battling the urge to fall down the rabbit hole and try to reacquire them (I still have a few -- including this one)
