Dream scenario was pretty good.
It was creative and funny, and omg it has some of the most realistically uncomfortable sequences i've ever seen.

Memories of Murder is absolutely fantastic.
I know parasite is a masterpiece, but I think I like this one more?
everything has such hidden depth to it, the acting is brilliant, I think the colors are exceptional.

drawtober day 17: Relaxed
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. While I prefer Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein is also fantastic, and I'm sorry that I can't capture half of these two actors' charisma.

drawtober day 16: Nervous
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Viy is a fantastic hidden gem of a folk horror movie, somewhere between House 1977 and Jack Frost 1964.

drawtober day 14: Lonely/Alien
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on insta, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. This was originally meant to be the blood test scene, but I couldn't get the framing to work. The thing is a pure shot of John Carpenter.

drawtober day 14: Lonely/Alien
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Alien is a beautiful, classic nightmare, with a deeply powerful atmosphere.

drawtober day 13: Joyful/Midsommar
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Midsommar is a slow burn, very well made classic of modern folk horror.

drawtober day 12: Disgusted/Arachnophobia
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on insta, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Arachnophobia is cheesy and has some tonal issues, but I give it credit for being the scariest spider movie I've ever seen.

drawtober day 11: Proud/Mad God
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on insta, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. I'll be honest, I planned out the movies in advance and I have completely forgotten why I picked Mad God for Proud, it doesn't really fit.

drawtober day 9: Excited/Hell Fest
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. While movies like The Funhouse and Haunt have their moments, I think Hell Fest best utilizes it's theme park setting.
October 9, 2023 at 11:50 PM
drawtober day 8: Ashamed/It Follows
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. It Follows is an excellent, smart horror movie about sexual trauma with enough suspense to rival Halloween.
October 9, 2023 at 2:39 AM
drawtober day 7: Serene/Mandy
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on insta, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Mandy is a fantastic, gory emotional thrill ride. This movie is very much not serene, so the relatively calm ending is really satisfying.
October 8, 2023 at 3:08 AM
drawtober day 6: Scared/Creepshow
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations.
All of these movies are scary, but Creepshow has it in the tagline. The Leslie Nielsen segment is my favorite.
October 7, 2023 at 6:14 AM
drawtober day 5: Calm/The Lighthouse
This year I'm using the #viztober prompts from @evalottchen, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. The Lighthouse is a fantastic psychological horror. It's hard to describe just how special it is, everyone should watch it.
October 6, 2023 at 5:29 AM
drawtober day 4: Sad/La Llorona
This year I'm using the viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. La Llorona, not to be confused with The Curse of La Llorona from the same year, is a unique, beautifully grim takedown of Fascism.

drawtober day 3: In Love/Bram Stoker's Dracula
This year I'm using the viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Bram Stoker's Dracula has such a good mix of fun, drama, romance and horror, really great.
October 4, 2023 at 7:13 AM
drawtober day 2: Angry/Lake Michigan Monster
This year I'm using the viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Lake Michigan Monster is very good and creative, I'm super excited to see Hundreds of Beavers, their next movie.
October 2, 2023 at 10:57 PM
drawtober day 1: Happy/Dead Silence
This year I will be using the viztober prompts from @evalottchen on instagram, and matching them to personal horror movie recommendations. Up first is Dead Silence, a movie that is not great, but very fun for the season.
