Today I did my taxes and then made chocolate cake. Then I ate too much chocolate cake. Ooops.

Been trying to keep busy. This morning I made chicken congee and apple crunch. I did dishes. I'm going to try to get my taxes done this weekend, but I am skeptical that I will succeed.

I'm sure there's a trick to going to bed before one gets too tired to go to bed... but I haven't learned it yet.

Approval just came through to upgrade the electrical service to our house. Been waiting 4 months for that. Soon, soon we will have things like backup heat.
