The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula in Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. It is 1,344 ± 20 light-years away.

Shot from my backyard a few years ago. I will revisit this object soon.

The Horsehead and Flame Nebulae, in HaRGB

This is about 30 minutes of the Orion Nebula (M42) taken this January with a Canon EOS 350D and a 75-300mm kit lens (300mm, f/6.3).

I'll re-attempt this with more integration time using a Rokinon 135mm in the coming weeks once I won't have to stay up too long for it.
