I like looking at and making art, rolling dice, playing stuff and throwing cardboard cards.

Warframe is one of my favorite games ever.

But also, if it weren't for 12yo me discovering it more than a decade ago, I probably would've never gotten into it. It's a bit overwhelming.

Between being too strong, too expenssive and now a game changer, I never put Cyc Rift any of my decks either. My pod already hates my decks enough.

But I also will play Aetherize anytime I can. You get what you deserve for attacking me.

Interesting. I guess Boros is off the table then. I guess it'd be either Sol Ring, Vault, Recall or like, the perfect card for the strat they were forcing, like Flash.

It's also possible they were scratching their eye at the perfect time and just didn't see it, idk.

I blame Green players for this.

I bet it was a Boros gamer with a bunch of 1-2 drops that got Ajani on that same pack, and honestly I don't blame them.

There are. Cube is a kinda like a customized Draft. Any player can make their own cube with their own pool of cards, themes, etc.

Vintage/high-powered Cube are the most popular variations I think, which contains a lot of the best cards in Magic history.

Yeah, having a nice and patient group to play with makes the game much easier to digest, and much more welcoming too! I'm glad you have them.

Oh, definitely! I was mostly thinking on high-powered and Vintage cubes as baseline, since those seem to be the most common. But there's a lot of ways you can go about it, for sure!

That's very fair! S1 can be a bit all over the place in terms of sideplots, but I like it for what it does with the worldbuilding. It sets up a lot of little things that come back later in pretty satisfying ways imo. Definitely feels a more experimental too, as you said, and I think that paid off.

Cube is terrifying! I love seeing more experienced players doing it, but I think would be totally lost if I tried it by myself.

It's just a great series. Very well paced and surprisingly short, too! During my own re-watch, I never felt like I was having my time wasted, or that the plot was dragging.
