Been working on a website redesign for our design system. It’s built with sass and uses flex. I’ve forgotten how much I hate these. Everything is split across 10 files. Just a pain figuring out where something is defined.

WTF LinkedIn, just no. If it’s not adding and pushing AI where it is not needed, then it’s adding arcade games to apps. Keeping the score private is no comfort.

Apple changed how WiFi works on the iPhone and now it just joins any open WiFi network. Even though I have it set to ask before joining networks. This is a security issue.

Headed to Prague for business trip. Flying through Dublin, so avoiding the Heathrow situation. My first time flying with Aer Lingus and they board from the back to the front.

Ok, Apple stop popping up annoying messages trying to get me to activate Siri and Apple Intelligence on iOS. And stop bothering me about not backing up. Yes, I know I’ve run out of space on my current iCloud, but I don’t care.

As mentioned previously, I tried to sign-up to watch the college football playoffs. They are only on ESPN & the only way to get ESPN is to subscribe to a cable or streaming service with "live" TV. The cheapest I could find was a deal from Sling for $114.99 for 3 months (38.33/month). This is crazy.

FYI – ESPN+ does not include being able to watch ESPN. I wanted to watch the college playoffs, but do not have cableTV any longer. So I thought signing up for ESPN+ would allow me access to ESPN as well. I was wrong. You must pay for a tv service to get ESPN.

So "tuned" in late to the Netflix live stream of the NFL Steelers vs Chiefs game. At 1st I was upset because it seemed like they were running a bunch of ads first while the game was being played. Then I realized rather than putting me into the live stream, I was starting from the 2hr pre-game show.

I bought a couple of new domains and have been working on new site designs. Looking at new CMSs as I am tired of Wordpress constantly needing to be updated. I want something that is minimal, but easily customizable. I am tempted to build my own.

So logged out of Twitter with no intent to log back in other than maybe download my data & delete my account at some point. It is devolving further into a cesspool of conspiracy theories & right wing nuts.
