but the reality is, it'll come together quite naturally in the end! and little details like that don't have to be 'set' in order for a character to still feel believable upon completion. chronic overthinking strikes again!!!

growing up, deciding on a character's interests/hobbies was always a nightmare for me. i felt that if i didn't get it "right," then my characters wouldn't be believable enough. it held me back (not exclusively) from writing many (albeit wack) novels in junior high + high school.
