I'm not exactly sure what to make of this album. It's prog, and I like prog, but it's also post-hardcore, which I'm not a big fan of. I feel like most of it just went over my head. I didn't really dislike any of it, but I didn't care about it very much.

Really great debut. It's really obvious how much these guys influenced Osees. So much fun, especially Yoo Doo Right. The shortest track, Outside My Door, was actually the most boring on the album, and not by much. Heavily enjoyed!

Really good album. It reminds me a bit of Danse Manatee by Animal Collective (of course), but some parts also reminded me of my bloody valentine. Altogether it was a very interesting psychedelic noise album, and I will likely listen to it somewhat often.

This album is very good. My only issue is that at points it feels very empty sonically, very cold, but I assume that's intentional. I can see myself returning to this when I feel particularly emotional. Will revisit.

I've heard 3 post-hardcore albums now, and to me they all sound more or less the same. I enjoyed this one, but I have a similar issue with it that I had with the previous 2; there's almost no variety. Aside from that, I did actually like it. "Every Sister" got to me a bit.

Probably one of the cleanest albums I've ever heard. The guitar work is awesome, and the mixing is basically perfect. I don't really have any complaints about it, it's just great guitar music. Love it!

Very nice album. I wasn't too crazy about the first few tracks, but in my opinion each song is better than the last. I wasn't really crazy about the vocals though. I especially liked the last two tracks though.

I liked the riffs on this album and enjoyed the diversity (Changes was beautiful), but I do think the mixing and mastering could've been better. The cymbals were way too loud, and the soft tracks were much louder than the heavy tracks. Maybe the 2021 remaster does it better.

Very interesting album. I know there's a story being told here, but I prioritize the instrumental over the lyrics on first listens. I did somewhat dislike how harsh the album sounded, but overall it was really pretty and I will be coming back to it.

Rather than the emotional lyrics and pop songwriting of John's album, Yoko repeats simple phrases and screams over hypnotic krautrock grooves and ambient instrumentals. Honestly, I found it to be a very captivating album that aligns with my current musical interests.

Pretty good album. Not as much variety as I would've liked. Ashes 2 and 1 were both pretty surprising though, never heard Paul and Dan drum that fast.
Also the cover art is amazing.

This album is hard for me to talk about. It made me feel things I don't like to feel. I enjoyed some of the sounds I've heard. But ultimately, I don't think I've experienced enough in my life to really appreciate it. It's also just not my thing musically.

Very much enjoyed this album. Many tracks were similar in sound and style, but the album does plenty with that and goes in other directions. The ending of "Earthling" reminded me of the Mother game series. Very fun!

My friends expected me to dislike this album, but I do actually like it quite a bit. A lot of the album feels really familiar, but I've never listened to Death Grips until now, so I don't know why. Really liked it!!!

This album is almost psychedelic pop at times. Kinda reminded me of Jack Stauber. Lots of cool synth stuff, but still plenty of good old garage punk. And the last track (excluding LADWP), I've never heard Dwyer sing like that.
Also there's a song about gooning 10/10.

Nothing else important happened today, so happy birthday to him!

Many people thought it would be another 3 or 4 years, when he said otherwise.

This album uses dissonance in some very interesting ways, but aside from that I didn't really connect with this album. I expected a much more heavy, aggressive record, and it isn't, but aside from that I just found it sluggish and, eventually, repetitive.

Pretty good album. I enjoy when the band goes in a more punk direction, and this album is exactly that. I didn't expect it to be as melodic as it is, even though it really isn't very melodic. Just goes hard.
