Ohh what a surprise, there is huge potential for performance and energy optimization by switching to different program languages... (wonder what would happen if we abandoned python....)

Reminder: Nobel-prize winning PCR (1983), used in basically all genetic tech today, was only possible because of extremophile bacterium discovered in 1964 in Yellowstone funded by a small ~$80k NSF grant with no obvious application at the time. #science 🧪

Based on 143 responses, the SNES DSP rate averages 32,076 Hz, rising 8 Hz from cold to warm. Warm DSP rates go from 31,965 to 32,182 Hz, a 217 Hz range. Therefore, temperature is less significant. Why? How does it affect games? We do not know. Yet. See docs.getgrist.com/fpwWkqDcnxXR... for more.

So what is there really to learn from DeepSeek's work? It does not matter how many billions of infrastructure you invest but how you use the available infrastructure! So is massive spending actually still relevant? Is the US's Stargate project really needed?
