The way I CACKLED and gleefully pitterpattered to my partner to show him. Also, here’s another fun little one for you. It’s my “choose your own text” meme. My text today is “Do yoga and you’ll be cured? Get stuffed!”

I've embarked on my first big crochet project of the winter, "big" being the operative word. The pattern is for a 5-foot-goose. So far I've finished both legs, the beak, and the tail feathers. What should I name her? Top contenders: The Empress, Tundra Bean, Madame Bernache.

It's not the *most* scenic view ever, but I appreciate any view. And some very interesting artwork of the neck and throat on the wall. Medical illustration is fascinating, and what gets placed in different offices (this one an ENT) feels like it should be a sociology paper.

I have an 18.5 year old cat, too, with so many health issues, but he is still hanging on, living his best life with lots of snuggles and window sniffs and good food. His name is Hibou.

This first one seems pretty great. The second one, well, definitely not as good, but it's something.

Absolute no-brainer for a quiz I must take. Can't say I'm mad about the result, even if this does look almost like a scorpion.

Incredible picture of the storms that blew through the Chicago area last night. Loud thunder and LOTS of lightning, but at least my neighborhood never got tornado warnings, so no interruption in cooking dinner.
