Sooo, I found out I'm not the only one with very slowly growing plants from seed. My tomatoes are 2 months old, and just one is trying to push out an actual leaf. I put them in actual soil and am just hopeful. I've been growing from seed for 6 years now, never had such bad germination rate and pace.
Two plastic pots with 3 tiny, tiny tomato plants in them (two plants are in one pot bc of mysterious reasons.) The pots are in a square glass plate and sit on a wooden balcony table.

In other gardening news: the first physalis are getting ripe! And my kale looks fiiiine. The grapes are getting ripe, too. And finally potted up the sweet potatoes. The roots in the tiny pots!?

Soooo, Xmas socks for the kindergarten.
We were supposed to bring some random, cheery socks with the kids name attached via a security needle or sticker, I found out later.
Ugh, ok.
Guess I overdid it.
An Xmas stocking on a dining table. The base is a soft, white fleece (leftover from that ghost costume), a childs name (hidden behind stickers) sewn in big letters on it and the top is lined with a green ribbon that is pulled in a simple bow at the back of the calve. We're looking from the top inside the white Xmas stocking. The green ribbon has been sewn on with a lighter green thread and the inside of the sock is a silky red material.

Unsere 4jährige kriegt von ihrer Patentante einen Leseknochen. Den hier hat sie mir geschenkt und ich finde ihm dauernd in ihr Zimmer wieder. Ist auch echt bequem und praktisch. (Hanju handmade).
Ein kleiner Kissen der wie ein Knochen für Hunde aussieht liegt auf dem Bett, nebendran eine Packung Taschentücher zwecks Skalierung.

They child wishes to be a ghost for Halloween, and I've been struggling with ideas for a SAFE one. Today I found inspiration online, yay! It's basically a poncho with a hood and ghostly face applications on the chest.
I'm getting somewhere!

We went hiking today. Mad warm October. We had 27°C out in the woods?! My inner squirrel squeaked at the amount of hazelnuts we found.
We are looking down into an open pants pocket, filled with hazelnuts. The gravel pathway underneath us is covered in dried up leaves.
