"yeah you can be gay/trans/gnc when you're grown" was already cope for the fact they couldn't control queer adults, so they must manufacture narratives based on pseduoscience (ie brain developments ends at 25) in order to extend their control over their offspring.

While I love dragons, but my main hyper fixation was ufology. The sites I visited and the TV I watched (ancient aliens, UFO files etc). That's when conspiracy theories were fun!

It typically came with coercion (ie, if you repent). Jesus wouldn't open his arms freely to a gay teen from a homophobic household. He most likely demand that they repent. He "forgave" on his own terms. With poor people: Jesus didn't promote wealth equality, he promoted asceticism.

It gives meaning to our lives. things have a purpose and place, therefore we also have a purpose and place. We don't need to think..we already have a role. Even if said role is crushing or unpleasant, we take comfort in the fact that we're apart of a plan, that it's for something.
