One I’ve seen a bunch is your politics often don’t change after your 20s. But take someone liberal on A and moderate on B & C in their 20s, add 30-40 years and the labels on A, B, & C get for their viewpoint changes without the viewpoint itself changing.

And it leaves an obvious enemies to lovers trope for it. Then a sequel with a kid of two different warring factions.

I’ve never heard a graduation party called that, but I’m originally Alaskan. Though I did college in the Midwest and don’t remember hearing the term there either.

When in a different building it doesn’t make much sense, but even with no staff one in the main building where/when people are around can have different insurance rates.

I remember a lot more of ‘he/him’ than ‘she/her’ mistakes from people but I must be poking around different parts of the web. I don’t get why it is so hard for people to recognize something so clear in the text.

I’ll admit my first thought on reading this was to automatically blame the car owner, but I need to remember that not everywhere is like where I grew up where we plow with graders and competent city workers.

I generally lean simulation as what I’m normally looking for is getting lost in/exploring the setting. The predictablity is important for that.

Wouldn’t bones and tendons puppetry mean they could vocalize under their control? As vocal cords, tongue, and breathing apparatus doesn’t seem like things controlled by the puppetry.

Party was surprised when it turned out that not everyone manning the checkpoint had approached them at once.

4 characters on bicycles with a bunch of looted guns get stopped at a check point in a post apocalyptic alternate world (the party). Two of the people running the check point demand payment to let them through.

“It looks like we have more guns than you, no.”

I guess using the classic crunchy snack in place of bread could work, but I would think you’d get some burning before the cheese melts properly.

Damn it, now I kinda want to make some noodles to put in a grilled cheese.

Yes, but it can be fun to tromp about in worlds that can’t be saved. It can feel liberating to know you can’t save the world when so many campaigns are built around that idea.

People have been reporting time delays on things like that today. Some issues with the backend are causing the like you just did to not show up for a bit, or a follow doesn’t show up for a few minutes

If you do a search for something like ‘comics starter pack’ you should find posts where people are posting links to some. Then you can look through the accounts in the linked starter pack to see if any catch your attention.

Is there a road? What condition? Any thoughts on pre planned ‘random’ encounters

50/50 or depends. If I’m just throwing something together then no I probably didn’t think about it. But! I also will be ‘I’m gonna make [blah] tonight’ in the morning which is definitely more of an acknowledgement.

You could do a mace with an ox head that gives a boost to str (strong as an ox). For a quick weapon do a boost to dex. Really simple suggestions, but with how damage and skills work in GURPS are good benefits to have

As a kid I liked Granny Smith so some of the fancier ‘better’ ones can strike me as a little too sweet.

I mean a mention of a hangover from celebrating a year or two done at college could easily cover it. If someone came in completely cold they would have probably read it as that; it is just if you are walking in from other works that it could trip someone up.
