Cyclists on our roads are at heightened risk.

Fourteen pedal cyclists have lost their lives so far this year, with a significant number of fatalities falling into two age groups:

➡️Young people under 20
➡️ Older adults aged 70 and above.

To date in 2025, 37 pedestrians and two e-scooter driver/passengers have been killed on our roads.

Among them, our oldest citizens are particularly vulnerable; people aged over 80 make up a large share of these deaths.
