It’s important to remember that Trumps entire hold of power relies on us getting distracted. Keep your eyes on Congress, it is where the Maga agenda truly lives or dies.

Trump rode to power under the flimsy promise of single handily lowering grocery prices. We are nearly 12 days into his tenure and he’s already enacted policy after policy which will only seem to raise prices far higher then they already were. Somehow the irony of that has fallen short for so many.

Suddenly the nuisance of economics only sets upon the maga crowd now that such things are needed to defend their beloved president. If the same crisis was to unfold only a year ago ,I don’t think nearly as much benefit of the doubt would have been given.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO
