Susan Collins could stop this she won’t. Along with her votes on justices who took away Roe she has arguably done more to harm America than any single senator.

Just heard from another Mainer told by Susan Collins staff on a call today that Collins 'had to' vote to for the bill Saturday so she could 'work on' amendments.

Again, totally false. Team Collins seems to be undertaking a concerted deception campaign against Collins's own constituents. #MEpolitics
If Susan Collins staff is in fact saying this to constituents, it's a lie. But it's one Collins and her staff have told before.

NOTE: *All* senators get to propose and vote on amendments. There's no rule that you had to vote 'yes' on the bill to be eligible. That's a total fabrication. #MEpolitics

*The* key Susan Collins point as we move toward a final vote:

Collins unlocked the vault Saturday with her vote.

Whether she goes in and steals the precious gems herself tonight/tomorrow or instead stands by while her pals loot the place is basically irrelevant. It's a minor detail. #MEpolitics

Mainers, send a postcard to Susan Collins for the 75th anniversary of her hero’s Margaret Chase Smith’s “Declaration of Conscience” speech. Senator Smith had the courage and integrity to challenge America to stand up to the “Fear, Ignorance, Bigotry and Smear” in her own party.

Unless Susan Collins is talking about an *action* she's going to take (i.e. that she will vote for/against someone or some bill) 'Collins says' is never a good reason for a story. Or a headline.

Can't believe that this still has to be said in 2025. (Same goes for Jared Golden.) #MEpolitics

A tipster tells us Susan Collins is speaking at a graduation at Presque Isle Forum tmrw May 10 10am-noon and then will be at the Presque Isle airport at 1pm.

Weird that NMCC wouldn't publicize Collins speaking at their graduation...unless maybe Collins insisted on keeping it quiet? #shh #MEpolitics

What are the chances that this Bangor Daily News story includes the info that Susan Collins just voted to confirm as Social Security Administrator the DOGE-supporting Trump nominee fervently opposed by social security advocacy orgs?

(Angus King voted against.) #MEpolitics

The FBI received 4500 tips about Kavanaugh. Many women and likely men thought their tips would be taken seriously and investigated. Instead the FBI and US government betrayed them.
Presumably it will shock you to learn that the Trump White House did everything it could to make sure the FBI's investigation of the Kavanaugh sexual assault allegations went absolutely fucking nowhere https://buff.ly/3YiNtvO
The Kavanaugh “Investigation” Was Even More of a Sham Than You Thought
A new report details the extent to which the Trump White House exercised tight control over the Kavanaugh investigation in 2018.
