Dawn redwood. 50 million years ago this tree was found throughout the northern hemisphere. Until 1941 when group of botanists found specimens in remote valley in China. They brought saplings back and now the dawn redwood can be found in few public gardens and state parks on Long Island.

Her tail maybe a bit grayish. She also has very loud purr and she purrs a lot. And she jumps up on my vanity and demands to brushed.
