The highest paid state legislators are in NY (142k), California (128k), and PA (106k). Meanwhile state legislators in AZ make 24k, FL make 29k, New Hampshire make $100 (yes, $100 per year). So many states operate in a way where you have to be independently wealthy to run for state legislative office

I am fundamentally opposed to everything about this. YouTube channel profiting off the current situation, giving a voice and platform to extremists and spreading their talking points while one guy rebuts them, framing all of this as a “debate” meaning that you’re putting both sides on equal footing
