Comics are a big part of my portfolio. I have a gothic horror webcomic called Masonry of the Body and I enjoy doing short comics on the side.

The Master puts a hand on Ada’s belly and asks “and you’re healthy, yes? You bleed every month?” Ada looks away, uncomfortable and says, “yes, I- I do...” He tilts her chin up and she reluctantly looks at him “it’s nothing to be embarrassed over, you’re fertile and that’ll make you a good wife.” He holds one of her hands, stylistically a band of thorns appears and drips blood on Ada’s hand, “I saw what being childless did to my wife, she felt so unfulfilled as a woman.” Behind him on the couch, the Wife’s ghost sits, smiling and laughing. The Master continues talking to Ada, “We each have a role we were born for, men and women, and to stray leads only to heartache.” The Master puts his hand on her forehead, “You’re chilled you poor thing, go to your room and rest.” Ada stands and bows her head and says “Thank you for having me.” He replies “Your company was lovely to have.” As she leaves, he says one last awful thing, Ada’s eyes go wide, “You’re a beautiful girl with well trained manners and a good physique. You _will_ make a wonderful wife one day, just like mine.” Ada holds herself stumbling through the hall. Surrounded by paintings of his wife, whose bloody ghost emerges to taunt her saying “Was it really so hard playing that role? Didn’t it feel natural? He was just paying you a compliment don’t be so frigid. You’re nothing more than a stubborn child unwilling to grow up into a woman.” A comic page showing people dressed in Tudor era clothing, everyone has come to see one woman. It is black and white except for the green of her eye. The text reads "My sister has beautiful eyes. Verdant green. People come from far to see." The woman is given gifts of green "They shower her with gifts. Emeralds, viridian silks, troves of herbs." A man takes her hand "Love-struck suitors rename the forest and hills after her." She spins in a fine dress "We are daughters of a duchy, but she lives like a queen."

Johannes having a speech bubble being the tumblr post 'none of those words are in the necronomicon' while looking horrified. Zarenyia then replying 'not even tentacles?' Another tumblr post inspired comic. Johannes wondering if reviving his wife will change her in ways neither of them will appreciate. Zarenyia then shows up, saying she has the same dilemma about microwaving pizza. Johannes is horrified, while Zarenyia insists her pizza is also important. Zarenyia leaning over Leonie, leaving the poor girl feeling very gay. A very broken Johannes wearing a hat that says "The Fish and Women have entered an uneasy alliance against me", which feels like just his luck.
