Reading this book at the moment. I'm vegan and this book caught my attention as the author brings some horror elements to the story. Vegetarianism and veganism share similarities in how to approach a dietry that tries to avoid causing suffering as much as possible.

Next book to read! I've read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and Stars of Chaos, and so far, Chinese writers have interested me. The plot seems interesting, and the concept of the extremes of good and evil will create an exciting dynamic between the characters.

I wanted to like this book but again, it didn't work for me. But many say the other works of the same author "Starve Acre" and "Lonely" are good, so I will give them a try.

So, Devil's Day is an exciting concept that needs more adjustments. The author's prose is beautiful, sets the story's atmosphere, and gives you a good sense of place; however, the rest falls in my opinion.
