perhaps jevil is specifically working with the Knight while spamton was forced against his will, that's my best guess

interesting... i don't think the other secret bosses mention the Knight specifically so that could definitely be why

especially given how much jevil mentions CHAOS, which is exactly what the Knight is trying to achieve with the Roaring

should also be mentioned that it appears in The Door as well, though that one makes sense. what's really messing with me is jevil's theme

not to be basic but i LOVE kris, i think the little bits of their personality that we get to see through stuff like their poses and the cool little dance they do during the sweet cap'n cakes fight (things that aren't controlled by the player) are so fun

and yes i know this shit is 16 minutes long PLEASE LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING IT'S GENUINELY ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE VIDEO GAME OSTS I'VE EVER HEARD

it probably wasn't intentional from nintendo, but the pride month release date made that jaw-dropping rainbow road reveal SO impactful. happy pride everyone, keep being who you are :)

this genuinely might be the most emotional i've ever gotten over mario kart (and definitely a top spot in every game i've ever played). this song is just absolutely phenomenal with how it pays homage to the rest of the series, and the franchise as a whole.
