Why do i have to buy this game again to get the supposed best experience? Am i supposed to be mad at atari for this one?

And i GUESS im a little desensitized bc yes i know it is meant to be upsetting but i See The Point of it so much that i just dont get why the game is facing so much pushback beyond standard 'ew too icky' kneejerk reactions

Theres a scene that was edited where a woman (who was previously a girl before editing) goes with her father to see the Horses (naked people with horse masks) and ride one. That seems to be the main point of conention, if one is even brought up at all
