New large-scale equipment for microassembly of quantum chips for quantum computers. The ficonTEC CL1500 is funded by BMFTR as part of the MIQRO joint project and procured by the working group of Prof. Dr. Christian Ospelkaus (quantum optics).

New mask aligner in the research building of the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering, Leibniz University Hannover #LUH. It is used to produce quantum chips for quantum computers based on ion traps in the BMBF project MIQRO and comes through the research group Christian Ospelkaus.

Prof. Dr. Michael Zopf (Solid State Physics at Leibniz University Hannover) has acquired a Lower Saxony Impulse Professorship funded with 2 million euros by MWK Niedersachen and @volkswagenstiftung.bsky.social to develop and integrate new semiconductor nanomaterials into photonic components.
