Have you read Inherit the Stars by James P Hogan? It's a favourite of mine. Astronauts discover a body on the moon and the characters spend the book using science to figure out where (and when) it came from. It's a very analytical mystery.

This post made me excitedly check my own local showings but the closest one this weekend is in MONTREAL . . . Looks like there might be better options next weekend, though.
