I really enjoyed your take on this and the way you weave together the movie theme, listing, anxieties and earned letting hope have the last word.

Yes, it does. Genre boundaries are just constructs & lives & minds are fluid, so crossings, permeability, & new approaches are always possible. I envy people working on the edges.

You might look at places that value the experimental--both to see what others are doing and to gage where your own work fits or breaks new ground. But first, I hope you can relish the fun of the doing.
