I know that feeling, but I have found people to be respectful & accommodating when I ask them to mask inside my home. It’s an intimidating conversation the first time, but can open the door to more socialization.
You are entitled to set your own boundaries, & find those willing to respect them.

Yes, and an unwillingness of Public Health officials to step up.
Even prior to the pandemic we could see that it was too easy for parents to lie about their kids’ vaccination status.
There is no real vaccine registry.
And PH officials fell into the anti-vaxxer trap of “vaxx and relax”

Yes, and an unwillingness of Public Health officials to step up.

This is a severe indictment of public health in Canada. We have lost our status as a country that has eliminated measles. We held this status since 1998 & we allowed ourselves to fail.
This is huge reputational damage to Canada & has placed our children at risk from a serious viral infection.
