This is great news, but only if something actionable comes out of it. Otherwise, it is just so many words.

Funny how musk can invest in Germany and they resist. But somehow we could not.😡

The quality of the reporting on this has been disappointing, to say the least, with only the most basic understanding of what the National Archives does.

This is bigger than a little spat with a small agency.

Isn't this genius? If you ban the words then the issue is instantly solved. Now here is my list of words that I want to see banned for the same reason:

Trump
Musk
MAGA
Vance
White Supremacy
Prejudice (for different reasons)
GOP

Here's hoping it works. Maybe you have some you would like to add???
2. A memo distributed by NSA leadership to its staff says that on February 10, all NSA websites and internal network pages that contain banned words will be deleted.

This is the list of 27 banned words distributed to NSA staff:

Earlier I mentioned that I was reading a book called "Book & Dagger" by Elyse Graham. It was published in 2024 and is FULL of interesting ideas of how a smaller but determined population can fight against authoritarianism. I'm find the book very relevant to what we are going through right now.

"Book & Dagger" by Elyse Graham is a fascinating look at the beginnings of the CIA when it started as OSS. Did you know that those 1st recruits in WWII were librarians? Librarians essentially created a whole different form of espionage by using public sources such as newspapers, maps. #booksky

These MAGA people have absolutely no bottom. Going after missing & exploited children?!?! I hope they don't comply. If they lose their funding we must support them instead. Their work is VITAL.
New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.

I know I'm late to the party, but as a non-religious person I found this book by Tim Alberta to be excellent. While I don't agree with what Evangelicals are doing, I better understand the history behind what is happening today. Excellent anecdotes & a fast read for such a thick book. 💙📚

Just found my way here. My question for the #SistersInLaw podcast is: If for some crazy reason Trump decided he wanted to make BitCoin the national currency how would he go about doing that? Assuming that he follows the actual laws of the country.
