So #DOGE is now spending taxpayer money, not saving it. Did Congress approve appropriations for these positions? Why aren't they hiring any forensic accountants?

Perhaps, but philosophy teachers owe it to our students to teach them how to construct and defend an argument – and to recognize when a belief has become indefensible. The problem with “I’m entitled to my opinion” is that, all too often, it’s used to shelter beliefs that should have been abandoned. It becomes shorthand for “I can say or think whatever I like” – and by extension, continuing to argue is somehow disrespectful. So, basically, Trump ginned up a fake crisis and then “solved” it so he can take credit for President Biden’s previous negotiations and accomplishments on border security.

Truth. During the campaign they continually failed to choose words that *the target audience* could *fully* understand. They preach to the choir rather than adapting and communicating effectively with voters they need to persuade. It's maddening.
