Transactional Trump believes throwing folks a little cash will cure everything. He has no clue just how long 2K lasts the average family these days. Still living in the 50s and 60s. The financial damage from the tariffs far exceed his quick fix.

Austinites are tired of being taxed to throw more money at the homeless problem-it's become like feeding stray cats-they keep on coming, requiring more money. Then, if we get taxed out of our homes, we become homeless.

Trump agreed? A judge ordered him to. He only cares when he's forced to. Dems need to use each & every instance like this to gain a majority in Congress to keep him in check as the Constitution mandates. The judiciary cannot do it alone.

I'd vote for him over Kamala Harris, and I am sure many folks would too. He's a bit more moderate than she is. While it would be nice to have a female POTUS, it's not going to happen as long as Trump & his conservative following exist. We're not all Irish unfortunately.

Trump doesn't have nearly enough donors to fund the project so he found a creative way to get taxpayers to pay for it-claim personal injury for past investigations and ask his own hand-picked Justice Dept to pay him "damages" that he will then "donate" to his legacy ballroom. We're not all dumb.

Unable to attend a "No Kings" event today due to caring for a special needs dog but I posted a "NO KINGS" message on every WH post they put on their new Bluesky account. They are an unfortunate addition to this very nice forum but at least they are aware that free speech means something here.
