Trump is about the look. He’s using tariffs to strong arm countries into building factories here, but there are no long-term strategic plans. He needs the visual of building- of bringing back manufacturing no matter what type. Just build.

Trump has played around with tariffs so much that other countries are realigning and leaving us out. Our farmers may not have a global market.

I love my 25 lbs bag of Jasmine Rice. I am still going to buy it if the price doubles. I am just NOT going to patronize the mom and pop where I get breakfast at least 10 times each month. That $150 will go towards my increased Costco bill.

…because contracts for ridiculous amounts are being paid. That’s simply untrue. It’s paper. When typing mistakes are made, they are caught and fixed before checks are cut. Musk is calling the original paperwork proof of the fraud. It’s not true. Ask for an FOIA paper trail.
