Week 2 of the semester, and we have a snow/cold day… time to redo my syllabi. With the increase in abnormal weather patterns lately, I don’t think there’s been a semester out of the past four where I have made it through the semester as planned…

If you spend much time with my husband Adam or me, you know that we both love church history. Getting to learn from the diverse body of believers- women and men, from all parts of the globe- has been such an encouragement to both of us throughout our lives.

This was fun to get in the mail this weekend. This article was a long time coming, and I’m so proud of how it (and the special issue of “postmedieval” it’s in) turned out.

Really delighted to receive the Michael Boles Excellence in Teaching Award today. With so many excellent colleagues, it is such an honor. (The second picture shows the surprise and delight quite well!)

Celebrated the publication of the third volume of our undergraduate history research journal, “Res Historica,” this afternoon. It’s such a joy to get to work with students to put this out and highlight their work!
