I have felt imposter syndrome early in my career.

But I promise you I still knew my templates were better than the ones that came with the software or that someone else made. 😂😂😂

This is a giant aha moment, like, I need to call my therapist.

I've known I was dyslexic for >30 years and it never occurred to me just how much I just naturally reframed my situation and unknowingly bright errbody w/me.

Tells you a lot about working with ppl w/disabilities to find accommodations. Let *us* tell you how we would do it, with just a little autonomy.

And with our conditions normalized.

Lololol I have actually enforced my personal specs on documents that aren't even mine. Lolol, I low key believe that my templates are just better because they are easy to read.

First thing I do when I get a new computer? Change all my document templates to my preferred specs. 😂😂😂😂

Had no idea. 😂😂😂

How's that for "reasonable accommodations" for a disability.

These years I spend an absurd amount of time agonizing over spacing in slides. I like my slides engaging but with a lot of white space, specific line spacing, a good ratio of text to images.

Line spacing is the thing I obsess over the most.

I genuinely believed that this was my aesthetic that reliably got me a read and an interview. That *is* my aesthetic, but it's also a reliable dyslexia coping mechanism.

I remember back when I did my very first resume, I spent days deciding my preferred font, font size, margins and line spacing. After all, if it's PERFECTLY clear for me, it should be comfortably readable to everyone else.

Project 2025, page 293, USDA section:

“Stress that ideal policy should remove obstacles imposed on American farmers and individuals across the food supply chain so that they can meet the food needs of Americans.”

Seems to align, unfortunately. I hate how much this document comes to fruition 🥴
