After my Schumer tantrum, this is what I have acknowledged. Clearly, there are things above my pay grade at work. My question is why do we need to play games to have a functioning government? That's what triggers the voters. Be direct. At least the GOP tells you fuck off!

Look. Maybe they knew there wouldn't be an agreement reached and the GOP would look like the bad guys. But the people are pissed. One party is tearing us apart and the other is invisible. If secretive things are going on by Dems, somebody send up a damn flare please.

Actually, I was so triggered by what I thought was a "cave to MAGA" that I didn't consider the long term. I've posted Heather Cox Richardsons explanation of what this was really all about. I'm willing to admit it has merit and that I was triggered and snapped to judgment. She's smarter than I am.
