No back swing on this shot (it's called a drag flick) , so this one is legal

I played college FH, so I'm biased, but I don't think it's uniquely convoluted compared to other sports. I just think there are few sports with less exposure to a broader American audience.

You can still score on a high shot if it's a drag flick or some other shot variants (that's how Princeton just scored on a high ball)
