I don't understand why you don't have compulsory voting in your country. In Australia it's compulsory and if you don't vote you get fined but at least everybody's voice is heard and it's a true reflection of the population. We don't have issues with voter suppression.

Just don't work under Trump!!! If I was capitol police I would refuse to protect Trump or the Republicans. I would leave the job for my own safety and do something else. Sometimes you have to look after yourself.
