I think a good lawyer could relying on something like damage to reputation, IIED, would have to get creative.
Clearly somebody has to have jurisdiction
December 19, 2025 at 11:16 PM
I would think the Kennedy family…a good atty could get that jurisdiction

She wants a spot in the administration for sure
December 19, 2025 at 10:46 PM
It’s insane. Somebody needs to sue, he can’t just change the name of the Kennedy Center with his sycophants in charge. It has to be voted on by Congress
December 19, 2025 at 10:45 PM
It will burst but right now under the Trump admin the rich and corporations have so much cash they just keep pouring it into the stock market. Don’t see them pulling it out any time soon

I think a tip may come about..Ken Paxton

I a hundred percent agree...they're not supposed to but they do. They're humans.

He thinks he's funny....vomit

Honestly, some times it doesn't matter. I'm sure she had a good attorney. If you have some jurors that want to convict and some that don't they negotiate...not guilty on felony, guilty on misdemeanor. It's not legally correct but it's what happens. She may have a good appeal. idk the evidence.

Makes for a heck of an exciting time to try to navigate the best way you can. But justice in some cases? Not so sure when the jury is one mind set. That’s a lot on an attorney
December 19, 2025 at 3:57 AM
Possible but then how good was the defense??
December 19, 2025 at 3:56 AM
I was in Federal court for 22 years and CA state court 11. The Feds shoot fish in a barrel (well, used to) but state it’s a free for all
December 19, 2025 at 3:48 AM
I can’t imagine. In CA you had jurors all over the map so you normally for a logical verdict. In some of those southern states, yikes bit at least it’s still 9 or 12 people
December 19, 2025 at 3:46 AM
I don’t honestly think it happens almost ever. They believe what they think whether right or wrong in my opinion, and they had to defend their position with others. Better jurors than political judges now. At least lawyers can dismiss jurors
December 19, 2025 at 3:29 AM
I was in So Cal so not so much insanity as a place like WV. Jurors always tried to do the right thing but there were still some verdicts that made zero sense to me. How do you convict a tippee and not a tipper on insider trading? Talk about insane logic. Luckily few and far between.

About f’ing time
December 19, 2025 at 3:24 AM
Were you in the courtroom? With all respect reporting about what happened and what actually happened are 2 different things. Spent 33 yrs in trial court as a clerk and I may not always agree, mostly did, but I could almost always understand why
December 19, 2025 at 3:19 AM
I agree completely. But this nonsense about but ICE is breaking the law means she shouldn’t be convicted? No. It should be straightened out on appeal. not being in court we don’t know. I saw some verdicts I was like HUH? And some I was mad but it’s a jury and you get these compromises
December 19, 2025 at 3:16 AM
The legal system has zero to do with jurors. The Democrats are just as bad conspiracy theorists as GOP. These. Are. Every. Day. People. Who. Did. Not. Want. To. Be. On. The. Jury. Chosen by attorneys for both side. If it’s not legal the appeals court will overturns. This happens every day
