What I object to is that she’s still being paid by the taxpayer, as a former PM, a considerable amount of money to spout this divisive and dangerous nonsense. Taxpayer funded payments to her should stop!!

I would say that he’s a bully and uses a bullying style to try and get others to bend to his will, rather than that he’s thick.

He’s also cocky and can’t imagine that anyone would outsmart him or stand up to him, when Canada and Mexico did, he backed off.

I agree that there will be a loss of faith in buying US goods from both Canadians and Mexicans, but more importantly, this strikes me as an ignominious walk back on Trump’s part, to try and save face, when he realised the effect tariffs would have on the US economy and his popularity!!
