Finally, a really good book in the @tournamentofbooks.com shortlist. Rejection by @tonytula.com. This book was so rad. At first I could barely handle it but by the end I loved it and then read it twice! Soooo good and too real for many parts. ❤️

Just finished You Dreamed of Empires for @tournamentofbooks.bsky.social and 5/5! I had to restart after I realized I needed the character list, but 100% listen to this for the awesome pronunciation of all the beautiful Maya (and other) words. So so good! @alvaroenrigue.bsky.social

Just finished Real Americans, working through @tournamentofbooks.bsky.social Gave it a 3.5/5. I liked the last third the most and learned a lot.

2025 tournament of books is here!! www.tournamentofbooks.com/the-year-in-... I just finished Blue Sisters and gave it 3/5. Started off great, but the ending wasn’t my favorite. Just seemed unrealistic.
