I really need a concrete example of what you mean, I generally always read a function before using it. But I'd argue this is a problem if a library doesn't have established patterns

i honestly have to disagree here, there have been so many times where i've needed template parameters to be a part of the parameters instead of their own thing that i cannot count. Then again im in cpp land where everything is more complicated. Maybe i won't need all this in other langs

And once you scroll far enough and try to play a track it will fuck up and automatically refresh the page, making you lose any progress while scrolling 🙂

Maybe if you're used to putting on something in the background while working, it would have the same effect when watching a movie and you subconsciously feel the need to do work instead of concentrating on the movie

We love modern software
August 29, 2025 at 9:56 PM
wdym you can't tell whether a function is generic or not?
August 29, 2025 at 9:52 PM
yeah understandable tbh

nvm I was just made aware that windows ships with a UCRT without needing to install any software
Well big L to micro soft
July 2, 2025 at 3:14 PM
What?

Wait what does the UCRT even need to call the OS for inside pow?????????????
Are we sure this isn't an STL bug instead?

there are benign uses of AI but most of them revolve around using it on your own stuff.

I think the last time i used it was generating random layers of "things" which i composited with randomised presets in chaotica

i needed 3 rereads to understand that you meant comp sci and not counter strike 💀💀💀
June 6, 2025 at 7:16 PM
tried a different approach using variadic inheritance from type_identity and trying to instantiate unique_test inside a requires but it seems to trip the compilers?
godbolt.org/z/9PGMacvq5
Even more confusing, in your example i can instantiate 2nd unique_test outside but not INSIDE a requires
