May 4th 1970. The ORIGINAL Resistance - Kent State University. The graphic historical non-fiction book by John Backderf is a deeply researched account of what preceded the shooting. It’s ever more relevant. Seven years before Star Wars and its stormtroopers, these soldiers killed protestors.
