I respectfully disagree with you about Fetterman, Keith. He represents something rare in Dem politics--a male leader who is pereceived as authentic and manly, as opposed to sanctimonious and wimpy. Tim Kaine? That is who you should be anfry at Balke about.

I think Bernard Sanders is a little too old, and he is not really anyone's idea of masculinity. Fetterman and Newsom are not wimpy Dems (a rarity for them), even if you don't like them.

You know the point I am making, but pride won't permt you to say,"You are right. I get what you are saying." Staying on brand is far more important than acknowleging atrategic and pragmatic ways of winning elections.

I am very pro-choice, but you have to admit the pro-choice movement has left money on the table by not reaching out to men the way they should because it's deemed too crass. And it is, but we're in the Trump era. You have to play every card you can. And you know I'm right but you can't admit it.

In your case, yes. I gave concrete ideas about how to get men to be vociferously pro-choice out of self interest, and you have been attacking me for it. People are selfish. That selfishness can be tuned into an asset for the pro-choice cause. But it won't be if no one is promoting it.

Don't be an angry male-hating moron. If you want to win electoral battles, then you should not act like an angry shrew purist. If reminding men of what they are risking by not supporting reproductive rights for women helps you win the battle, then you should do it. No one asks how you won the game.

You are an idiot. In politics, you need every possible ally, for whatever reason, to support your side. Maybe if you weren't so disdainful of men, Republicans would not be acting the way they do. By all means, stay in lefty scold land and lecture about the evils of the world while losing.

The name of the game is to win elections, and not be a MeToo scold. Virtue signaling only helps the bad guys win. In politics, you get your allies where you can to win elections. That is thinking with my brain, and not any other organ. Be strategic and no one will have to die.

Agreed, but Dems need to message better to men, too. On the Roe issue, Dems refuse to talk to men about how they're screwed by a repeal. Remind them about child support and being a deadbeat dad. Tell Gen X, Y, and Z males, no Roe means it's harder to "get lucky." How hard is that?
