Cloudy but dry & calm for a good walk around 'local patch' at Musselburgh.

Long-staying Marsh sandpiper still present (3+ weeks now).

Glorious sunny weather for a walk at Musselburgh.

Relatively quiet birdwise, but good to see young goosanders and a recently fledged young stonechat. Lesser whitethroat still singing (weakly) near old scrapes, and Green-winged teal on new lagoons. Other wildlife included Roe deer and Red fox.

Great ‘day off’ with walk on E Lothian coast, and around Musselburgh lagoons.

Lovely spring sunshine, albeit with chilly breeze. Shorelark at Barns Ness (til flushed by dog walker!), and (my) first chiffchaffs at Musselburgh, as well as Little egret on new scrapes.
