🌨️Day 3 of school distruption

Across Wales, at least 36 school sites were at least partially closed as a result of snow and ice today.

These were in:

Denbighshire (20)
Conwy (12)
Wrexham (2)
Ceredigion (1)
Flintshire (1)

Wales’ “not for profit” water company had to be forced by Ofwat not to pay its bosses customer money in bonuses.

Am I misunderstanding, or doesn’t paying bosses bonuses go against the whole principle of being “not for profit?”

There was more snow and ice disruption to schools across Wales today, with at least 70 schools being at least partially affected by the weather.

Is anyone else getting suspicious phone calls at the moment which leave a voicemail in what sounds like an East Asian language? I’ve had two today. I don’t answer phone calls from unknown numbers so I don’t know what happens if they’re actually answered.

I’ve only had a quick look around this app and I’m already seeing that the level of engagement and activity on here is comparable with what I see on Twitter, and much higher than on Threads. Now I see where everyone has gone!
