Yeah... im.. concerned.. to say the least

I didn't shade the body because I wanted the subject to feel dehumanized, but I think that it might be too jarring, and the lack of a head/feet accomplishes what I want. On the other hand this was 7 hours of work already, 2 of which was shading and tbh, I was tired lol

ive never really felt inspired in my life.. but this has to be it... its like a forceful sensation in my brain to depict these feelings... so i think for a while i might delve into Giger and art that he has inspired...

in recent months Giger has haunted my dreams, and even broken into my waking hours... not the way his art can be observed, but rather where my mind takes the feelings that his art invokes...

it speaks to me of being trans, and it speaks to me of becoming disabled... which are both things im desperately trying to come to terms with as they impact my life more and more...

I was talking to a friend about it, and Giger's brand of transhumanism really speaks to me on a level that no art ever has.. i love the near-erotic blending of flesh and machine. it speaks to me of evolution, and progress, and of being forgotten... hunted to extinction by evolution as it were..
